Electrocardiography (ECG)
ECG is a diagnostic test that measures the electrical activity of the heart.
During an ECG, electrodes are placed on specific areas of the body, such as the chest, arms, and legs. These electrodes detect the electrical impulses generated by the heart as it contracts and relaxes.
Resting ECG $500
This is the most common type of heart disease screening and is performed while the patient is at rest, lying down.
The Resting ECG is used to observe whether the heart is abnormal at rest, due to conditions such as arrhythmia, atrial and ventricular hypertrophy, or myocardial hypoxia.
Treadmill ECG $2,800
(Examination at Jordan)
This ECG is performed while the patient exercises on a treadmill.
It helps assess the heart’s response to physical exertion and can detect exercise-induced abnormalities, such as exercise-induced ischemia or arrhythmias.
24hrs Holter $3,000
Holter monitoring allows for continuous monitoring of the heart’s rhythm over a 24-hour period. It provides a more comprehensive assessment of the heart’s rhythm throughout the day, including during normal activities, sleep, exercise, and routine tasks.
This method is suitable for diagnosing cases of arrhythmia including occasional arrhythmia.
